Employers Required to Pay into Compensation Fund for Hired Foreign Workers

The Minister of Manpower (“ Minister ”) has issued Regulation No. 20 of 2019 on the Administration of Non-Tax State Revenue Originating from the Compensation Fund for the Recruitment of Foreign Workers (“ Regulation 20/2019 ”), which sets out updated provisions relating to the state compensation fund that must be paid into by any employers when they recruit any foreign workers.
