Environmental Performance Ratings Framework for Companies Overhauled: Teams Expanded, Aspects Revised and New Ranking Standards Introduced

Back in 2021, the Minister of Environment/Head of the Environmental Control Agency (“ Minister ”) issued Regulation No. 1 of 2021 on the Company Performance Rating Assessment Program for Environmental Management (Program Penilaian Peringkat Kinerja Perusahaan Dalam Pengelolaan Lingkungan Hidup– “ Proper ”) (“ Regulation 1/2021 ”), which set out various supervision guidelines that address the performances of business operators and/or activities in terms of their environmental management.
