Extradition Agreement with Singapore - A Work in Progress

The Extradition Agreement will require both countries to ratify the provisions into their respective national legal systems (for a discussion of this see ILD 4/5/2007). However, the agreement is likely to have some teething problems as the agreement will require that the legal systems of both countries come under close scrutiny of the other to ensure that all the rights and obligations of individuals subject to extradition applications are protected.
