Five Stages for the Handling of Disaster Garbage Introduced

The Minister of Environment and Forestry (“ Minister ”) has issued Regulation No. 1 of 2024 (“ Regulation 1/2024 ”) on the Handling of Garbage Arising from Disasters (“ Disaster Garbage ”), which has been in force since 17 January 2024. Disaster Garbage has been classified as specific garbage under Regulation of the Government No. 27 of 2020 on Specific Garbage Management (“ Regulation 27/2020 ”).
