In an effort to ensure that the Risk-Management Program (Program Manajemen Resiko– “ PMR ”) that applies within the food industry sector is in line with current legal requirements, as well as recent scientific and technological developments, the National Agency of Drug and Food Control (Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan– “ BPOM ”) has issued Regulation No. 10 of 2023 on the Application of the Food-Safety Risk-Management Program at Processed Food Production Facilities (“ Regulation 10/2023 ”), which has been in force since 13 March 2023. [1] Previously, these matters were addressed under Regulation of BPOM No. 21 of 2019 on the Food-Safety Risk-Management Program for Food Industries (“ Regulation 21/2019 ”), which has now been repealed and replaced.
