In order to support national economic recovery during the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (“ COVID 19 ”) pandemic, the Indonesian Government has made various adjustments in relation to the granting of visa and immigration stay visas through the issuance of Regulation of the Minister of Law and Human Rights (“ Minister ”) No. 34 of 2021 on the Granting of Visa and Immigration Stay Permits During the Handling of COVID-19 Transmission and National Economic Recovery (“ Regulation 34/2021 ”). [1] The issuance of Regulation 34/2021 simultaneously replaces and repeals Regulation of the Minister No. 27 of 2021 (“ Regulation 27/2021 ”) on the Restriction of Foreign Citizens Entering Indonesian Territory During the Period of the Enforcement of Emergency Community Activity Restrictions (Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat Darurat– “ Emergency PPKM ”).
