In 2023, the Minister of Law and Human Rights (“ Minister ”) issued Regulation No. 22 of 2023 on Visas and Stay Permits (“ Regulation 22/2023 ”) which, in essence, addressed a wide range of matters relating to the issuance of visas and stay permits, including limited-stay visas, limited-stay permits (Izin Tinggal Terbatas –“ ITAS ”), permanent-stay permits (Izin Tinggal Tetap –“ ITAP ”) and re-entry permits with certain validity periods (collectively referred to as “ Golden Visas ”).
