Bank Indonesia’s (“ BI ”) Board of Governors has made various changes concerning the monitoring of the Foreign-Exchange Traffic (Lalu Lintas Devisa– “ LLD ”) activities of banks and customers through the issuance of Regulation of the BI Board of Governors No. 5 of 2023 , which is the second amendment (“ Second Amendment ”) to Regulation No. 21/28/PADG/2019 (“ Regulation 21/2019 ”) and which has been in force since 1 August 2023. These changes have been introduced in order to improve the effective implementation of foreign-exchange traffic activities deriving from Export Proceeds (Devisa Hasil Ekspor– “ DHE ”) and Import Payments (Devisa Pembayaran Impor– “ DPI ”).
