Funds Carried into or out of Indonesian Customs-and-Excise Areas Required to Be Reported Through goAML App

In line with the mandate originally set under Regulation of the Government No. 99 of 2016 (“ Regulation 99/2016 ”), [1] Regulation of Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (Pusat Pelaporan dan Analisis Transaksi Keuangan– “ PPATK ”) No. 1 of 2022 (“ Regulation 1/2022 ”) has now been issued and contains provisions that elaborate upon the reporting of carriages of cash and/or other payment instruments into or out of Indonesian customs-and-excise areas by the Directorate-General of Customs and Excise (“ Directorate-General ”) to the PPATK, specifically through the goAML app. [2]
