Futures Trading Advisors May Now Offer Advice on Commodity Trading Through the Physical Commodity Market of the Futures Exchange

Previously, the Commodity Futures Trading Regulatory Agency (Badan Pengawas Perdagangan Berjangka Komoditi– “ Bappebti ”)  issued Regulation No. 6 of 2020 (“ Regulation 6/2020 ”) on Futures-Trading Advisors (“ Advisor ”) and Advisor Representatives (“ Representatives ”) which, as its title suggests, sets out a framework that should be followed by Advisors and Representatives (collectively referred to as “ Consultants ”) whenever they engage in their professional activities, as well as the licensing required in order to become professional Consultants.
