In an effort to ensure greater legal certainty in relation to Indonesian citizenship, the government has issued Regulation No. 21 of 2022 (“ Amendment ”), which amends the current Regulation of the Government No. 2 of 2007 on Procedures for the Acquisition, Termination, Revocation and Reacquisition of Indonesian Citizenship (“ Regulation 2/2007 ”).
