Government Draft Regulations Targeted for 2018 Issue

The President of the Republic of Indonesia has issued Decree of the President No. 9 of 2018 on the 2018 Program for the Formulation of Regulations of the Government (“ Decree 9/2018 ”), which will function as a set of guidelines to be used by the government for the issuance of Regulations of the Government during the 2018 period.The Decree contains a list of Draft of Regulations of the Government (“ Draft Regulations ”) which are planned for issue during 2018. [1] The Minister of Law and Human Rights is authorized to verify and supervise the realization progress of Draft Regulations, as outlined under Decree 9/2018, and these are to be subsequently reported to the President. [2] In essence, Decree 9/2018 encompasses Draft Regulations which address the following sectors and which are planned for issue during 2018:
