Government Establishes Health Information System

To advance the health services industry, Government Regulation No. 46 of 2014 on Health Information Systems (“Regulation”) was recently issued. This regulation implements Article 168 (3) of Law No. 36 of 2009 on Health, which mandates the issue of a Government Regulation to establish a regulatory framework for a health information system that enables health services to be provided in an efficient and effective manner and ease Government supervision.
