The Indonesian Government is planning to migrate analog system television broadcasting to digital system television broadcasting in a gradual manner through the implementation of a simultaneous broadcasting (simulcast) mechanism. With this goal in mind, the Minister of Communication and Informatics (“ Minister ”) recently issued Regulation No. 3 of 2019 on the Implementation of Simulcast Broadcasting as Preparation for the Migration from Analog System Television Broadcasting to Digital System Television Broadcasting.
