In order to further improve the safety and security of sailing vessels, the Minister of Transportation recently issued Regulation No. PM 57 of 2021 on Procedures for the Inspection, Examination and Certification of Vessel Safety (“ Regulation 57/2021 ”), in line with the mandate originally set under Regulation of Government No. 31 of 2021 on the Organization of the Shipping Sector (“ Regulation 31/2021 ”).
