In an effort to realize government policy, as originally mandated under Regulation of the President No. 98 of 2021 , [1] the Indonesian Government has reaffirmed its commitment to contributing to a reduction in greenhouse gas (“ GHG ”) emissions across various sectors and subsectors of the economy, including the power-plant subsector. In order to support the realization of this commitment within said subsector, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (“ Minister ”) has issued Regulation No. 16 of 2022 on Procedures for the Organization of Carbon Economic Value Within the Power-Plant Subsector (“ Regulation 16/2022 ”).
