Government Regulates the Organization of Business Licensing at the Regional Level

As Law No. 11 of 2020 on Job Creation (“ Job-Creation Law ”) continues to reform Indonesia’s overall business licensing framework, the government is currently attempting to follow up on the umbrella framework of the new law through the issuance of several implementing regulations that relate to business licensing procedures, including Regulation of the Government No. 6 of 2021 on the Organization of Business Licensing at the Regional Level (“ Regulation 6/2021 ”).
