Government Set to Provide Facilities for Nationally Strategic Projects

In an attempt to support the completion of various Nationally Strategic Projects, the government has issued Regulation No. 42 of 2021 on Facilities for Nationally Strategic Projects (“ Regulation 42/2021 ”), which sets out the legal basis for the provision of facilities to the central government, regional governments and/or business entities in relation to the completion of nationally strategic projects. In essence, Regulation 42/2021 establishes details of the various types of facilities that are provided in order to accelerate the completion of nationally strategic products, which are further elaborated upon in this edition of Indonesian Legal Brief (“ ILB ”).
