Governor of Jakarta Capital Special Region Directive No. 78 of 2011 on Car Free Day Implementation in Specific Areas (“Directive”) has been issued to implement Article 27 of Regional Regulation No. 2 of 2005 on Air Pollution Control. The Directive is addressed to 9 (nine) heads of office in the Jakarta Regional Government, including the Head of the Regional Environmental Management Agency; Mayors of Jakarta; the Head of the Transportation Office; the Head of the Tourism and Culture Office; and the Head of the Public Order Officer (Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja – Satpol PP).
