Govt. Finally Issues New Regulation on the Operation of Postal, Telecommunications and Broadcasting Services

In an attempt to support Indonesia’s digital transformation and the redevelopment of the country’s burgeoning digital economy, the government has finally issued Regulation of the Government No. 46 of 2021 on Post, Telecommunications and Broadcasting (“ Regulation 46/2021 ”) which serves as an implementing regulation to the various revisions to Indonesia’s telecommunications and broadcasting sectors that were recently introduced under the umbrella framework of Law No. 11 of 2020 on Job Creation (“ Job Creation Law ”).:
