In a bid to further improve policy implementation in relation to tire imports, the Minister of Trade (“ Minister ”) has issued Regulation No. 5 of 2019 (“ Third Amendment ”), which amends Regulation of the Minister No. 77/M-DAG/PER/11/2016 on Import Provisions for Tires (“ Regulation 77/2016 ”) [1] for the third time.Regulation 77/2016 was amended twice previously through the issuance of Regulation of the Minister No. 117 of 2018 (“ Second Amendment ”), as well as Regulation of the Minister No. 6 of 2018 (“ First Amendment ”).In essence, the Third Amendment redefines several provisions which relate to the following areas, as originally addressed under Regulation 77/2016:
