Govt. Introduces New Procedure for B3 Waste Characteristics Testing

The Minister of Environment and Forestry (“ Minister ”) has issued Regulation No. P.10/MENLHK/SETJEN/PLB.3/4/2020 on Procedures for Characteristics Testing and Status Determinations for Hazardous and Toxic Material Waste (“ Regulation 10/2020 ”), which represents an implementation of various provisions initially set out under Regulation of the Government No. 101 of 2014 on the Management of Toxic and Hazardous Waste Substances (“ Regulation 101/2014 ”) and which sets out an updated set of procedures for the implementation of characteristics testing and status determinations for Hazardous and Toxic Material Waste (“ B3 Waste ”).
