Govt. Introduces New Procedures for the Registration and Reporting of, and Data Collection for PBB Tax Objects

Regulation of the Minister of Finance (“ Minister ”) No. 48/PMK.03/2021 on Procedures for the Registration, and Reporting of, and Data Collection for Land and Property Tax Objects (“ Regulation 48/2021 ”) was recently issued in order to update and simplify procedures for the registration and reporting of, and data collection for objects subject to land and property tax (pajak bumi dan bangunan– “ PBB ”). These updated and simplified procedures are expected to improve the quality of the services that are provided to taxpayers in terms of said procedures and to thus support the government’s objective of improving Indonesia’s ease-of-doing-business ranking.
