Govt. Introduces New Social and Environmental Responsibility Programs for State-Owned Enterprises

In an attempt to optimize the implementation of development and assistance programs for small-scale businesses, the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (“ Minister ”) recently issued Regulation of the Minister No. PER-05/MBU/04/2021 on Social and Environmental Responsibility Programs for State-Owned Enterprises (“ Regulation 5/2021 ”). The new regulation renews the State-Owned Enterprise (Badan Usaha Milik Negara– “ BUMN ”) Partnership and Community Development Program (“ Partnership Program ”) by implementing the new Social and Environmental Responsibility (Tanggung Jawab Sosial dan Lingkungan– “ TJSL ”) programs.
