Govt. Introduces Provisions on Immigration Prevention and Prohibition

In an attempt to establish proper administrative and legal certainty in relation to certain immigration-related matters, specifically, the temporary prevention of individuals exiting the territory of Indonesia (“ Preventions ”) and the prohibition on foreign citizens entering the territory of Indonesia (“ Prohibitions ”), the Minister of Law and Human Rights (“ Minister ”) has issued Regulation No. 38 of 2021 on Preventions and Prohibitions (“ Regulation 38/2021 ”).
