Govt. Introduces Special Scheme for Industrial Shipbuilding Companies for the Provision of Goods and Materials

The Minister of Industry (“ Minister ”) has issued Regulation No. 19 of 2020 on the Utilization of Special Schemes for the Provision of Goods and Materials for Industrial Shipbuilding Companies for Shipbuilding (“ Regulation 19/2020 ”) in order to support the implementation of Economic Policy Package XV, which addresses the areas of business development and the competitiveness of national logistics service providers and which introduces import-duty exemptions for certain goods and materials which are used in shipbuilding.
