Govt. Introduces Technical Guidelines for PPKSP: Established TPPK at Education Units to Implement Three Forms of Violence Prevention Measures

In August 2023, the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (“ Minister ”) introduced a new legal framework on the Prevention and Mitigation of Violence at Education Units (Pencegahan dan Penanganan Kekerasan di Lingkungan Satuan Pendidikan– “ PPKSP ”) through the issuance of Regulation No. 46 of 2023 (“ Regulation 46/2023 ”). [1] However, following the introduction of this new framework, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology subsequently decided to introduce a set of technical guidelines that specifically address PPKSP (“ PPKSP Guidelines ”) through the issuance of Decree No. 49/M/2023 (“ Decree 49/2023 ”), which has been in force since 24 November 2023.
