To optimize the country’s electronic-based economic potential, including the e-commerce sector, start-ups, business development and accelerated logistics processing, the government has finally issued Presidential Regulation No. 74 of 2017 on Roadmap for The National Electronic Commerce System for 2017 – 2019 (“Regulation 74/2017”). [1] In a nutshell, Regulation 74/2017 sets out an e-commerce roadmap for the 2017 -2019 period, as stipulated under the Appendix to Regulation 74/2017, and this roadmap will serve as a set of strategic guidelines for the preparation and implementation of e-commerce transactions (“Roadmap”).
