In 2018, the Minister of Law and Human Rights introduced Regulation No. 17 of 2018 (“ Regulation 17/2018 ”) [1] on the Registration of Limited Partnerships (Commanditaire Vennootschap- “ CV ”), Firma Partnerships (Persekutuan Firma) and Civil Partnerships (Persekutuan Perdata) (collectively referred to as “ Partnership Entities ”). As its title suggests, this framework outlined the applicable mechanisms for the submission of applications for the registration of deeds of establishment, the amendment of articles of association, as well as the dissolution of Partnership Entities (collectively referred to as “ Applications ”) through the Business Entities Administration System (Sistem Administrasi Badan Usaha– “ SA-BU ”).
