Govt. Officially Labels Disinformation and Hate Speech Content as Public Order Disruption: PSE UGC Face Four-Hour Content Takedown Deadline

In order to reflect its assessment that the distribution of electronic information and/or documents containing disinformation and/or hate speech through digital spaces may ultimately result in public unrest, social polarization and intergroup conflict, the Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs (“ Minister ”) has decided to issue Decree No. 127 of 2026 on Electronic Information and/or Electronic Documents Containing Disinformation and/or Hate Speech (“ Decree 127/2026 ”).
