Govt. Redefines the Settlement of Undeclared Goods, State-Acquired Goods and Goods Belonging to State

The Minister of Finance (“ Minister ”) has issued Regulation No. 178/PMK.04/2019 on the Settlement of Undeclared Goods, State-Acquired Goods and Goods Belonging to State (“ Regulation 178/2019 ”). Regulation 178/2019 redefines provisions on the classification and treatment of exported or imported goods which are not in accordance with customs policy. Furthermore, Regulation 178/2019 also introduces a mechanism through which businesses may file objections in relation to determinations of goods.
