The Indonesian Government has finally issued Regulation on the Registration of International Marks Based on the Protocol Relating to the Madrid Agreement Concerning the International Registration of Marks (“ Regulation 22/2018 ”), as a follow up to joining the Protocol for the Madrid Agreement Concerning the International Registration of Marks (“ Madrid Protocol ”) through the issuance of Regulation of the President .Serving as an implementing regulation, Regulation 22/2018 addresses the following technical provisions relating to the implementation of the Madrid Protocol:
