The Minister of Trade (“ Minister ”) recently re-regulated export provisions for processed and purified mining products through the issuance of Regulation No. 96 of 2019 on Export Provisions for Processed and Purified Mining Products (“ Regulation 96/2019 ”). [1] The introduction of Regulation 96/2019 is expected to increase the added value of exports of mining products and redefines a number of export provisions relating to raw materials/ores in the form of nickel which meet certain criteria.
