Govt. to Issue Regulation Redefining the Electronic Systems and Transactions Sector

Within the next few weeks, the government is expected to officially establish the Draft Regulation of the Government (“ Draft Regulation ”) on the Amendment to Regulation of the Government No. 82 of 2012 on the Organization of Electronic Systems and Transactions (“ Regulation 82/2012 ”).The Draft Regulation introduces a number of new provisions that will apply to almost all businesses which utilize internet systems as communication channels as part of their operations.
