The Indonesian Law and Policy Study Center (Pusat Studi Hukum dan Kebijakan Indonesia/“ PSHK ”) is continuing to publicize the fact that Indonesia is currently undergoing a period of hyper-regulation which has seen literally thousands of regulations being issued over the course of the last few years. [1] Therefore, with the ultimate goal of reducing the formulation and introduction of unnecessary regulations and preventing the creation of overlapping legal frameworks, the House of Representatives (“ House ”) has finally passed Law No. 15 of 2019 (“ Amendment ”) on the Amendment to Law No. 12 of 2011 on the Establishment of Laws and Regulations (“ Law 12/2011 ”).
