In line with Directive of the President No. 5 of 2020 [1] regarding the improvement of the performance of the national logistics system, the investment climate and national competitiveness, the Minister of Trade (“ Minister ”) has issued Regulation No. 92 of 2020 on Inter-Island Trade (“ Regulation 92/2020 ”), which updates provisions relating to inter-island trade activities with the ultimate goal of domestic market integration. [2] These updated provisions will serve as a set of guidelines to be used by businesses during any inter-island trade in goods within the jurisdiction of Indonesia, including all domestically produced, imported or export-bound goods.
