Govt. Updates Provisions on the Implementation of Mineral and Coal-Mining Business Activities

Aimed at elaborating various provisions set under Law No. 4 of 2009 on Minerals and Coal Mining, which has been amended by Law No. 3 of 2020 on the Amendment to Law No. 4 of 2009 on Minerals and Coal Mining (“ Law 3/2020 ”) [1] and by Law No. 11 of 2020 on Job Creation, [2] the government has now issued Regulation of the Government No. 96 of 2021 (“ Regulation 96/2021 ”) as an updated regulatory framework for the implementation of mineral and coal-mining business activities.
