In 2022, the Head of the Halal Product Guarantee Agency (Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Produk Halal– “ BPJPH ”) issued Decree No. 61 of 2022 on Standard Operating Procedures for Halal Certificate Application Services at the BPJPH ( “Decree 61/2022 ”). At its core, Decree 61/2022 outlined the application scheme and various services that were available through the following website: https://ptsp.halal.go.id/ (SIHALAL platform – “ SIHALAL ”) in order to secure mandatory halal certification (“ Certification ”).
