In 2020, the Director-General of Customs and Excise (“ Director-General ”) established various provisions and prerequisites that related to physical examinations of palm oil, crude palm oil (CPO) and related derivative products (collectively referred to as “ Products ”), as well as to the submission of export notifications (pemberitahuan ekspor barang– “ PEB ”) for exports of said Products through the issuance of Regulation No. PER-08/BC/2020 on the Governance of Exports of Palm Oil, Crude Palm Oil and Derivative Products (“ Regulation 8/2020 ”).
