Health Worker Management Provisions Finally Regulated

Due to the fact that health workers have a strategic role to play in improving the overall health of the nation, the government is responsible for ensuring and managing the quality and quantity of Indonesia’s health workers. In order to meet this objective, the government recently issued Regulation of the Government No. 67 of 2019 on the Management of Health Workers (“ Regulation 67/2019 ”), which sets out further details relating to the planning, procurement, utilization, development and supervision of health workers across Indonesia, as mandated under the following laws: [1]
