The Ministry of Health (“Ministry”) recently issued Regulation No. 34 of 2017 on Hospital Accreditation (“Regulation 34/2017”), with the objective of implementing Article 40 (4) of Law No. 44 of 2009 on Hospitals, as well as improving the quality of hospital services.
