Implementation of Budget Expenditure Cuts Set to Expand Beyond 2025

Expenditure efficiency has become somewhat of a keyword for President Prabowo Subianto’s administration. Officially starts since the issuance of the Instruction of President No. 1 of 2025 , the majority of government agencies and ministries has to reduce their expenditure budget in order to maintain fiscal stability and funds other government priority programs such as the Free Nutritious Meal (Makan Bergizi Gratis/MBG) or Danantara.
