Import Duty Reliefs Incoming: Zero-Percent Tariffs Set for Aircraft MRO Materials and Petrochemical LPG Imports

The Minister of Finance (“ Minister ”) has issued the new Regulation No. 50 of 2026 on (“ Third Amendment ”) on the Third Amendment to the Regulation of the Minister No. 26/PMK.010/2022 on the Stipulation of the Goods Classification System and the Imposition of Import Duties on Imported Goods (" Regulation 26/2022 "), which as its title suggests, amends the initial Regulation 26/2022. The Third Amendment introduces specific Harmonized System (“ HS ”) code subheadings under Chapter 98 to provide a 0% import duty incentive for parts and materials destined for Aircraft Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (“ MRO ”) operations, as well as for Liquefied Petroleum Gas (“ LPG ”) imported as a raw material for the petrochemical industry.
