Improving Business Certainty: Govt. Issues Provisions on Commodity Balances

The government recently issued Regulation of the President No. 32 of 2022 on Commodity Balances (“ Regulation 32/2022 ”), which will serve as an implementing regulation to various other regulations that require the application of a commodity balance. [1] Furthermore, in response to the introduction of this new legal framework,  business actors have confirmed that the application of commodity balances during procurements of raw materials will create greater business certainty for them.
