Government Regulation No. 12 of 2012 on Incentives for Sustainable Protection of Agricultural Land for Food Security (“Regulation”) was recently issued to implement Article 43 of Law No. 41 of 2009 on Sustainable Protection of Agricultural Land for Food Security (Law 41/2009). Article 43 requires the issuance of a government regulation to regulate incentive matters for farmers and local government.
