The House of Representatives (“House”) has passed the Bill(“Bill”) on Ratification of the Nagoya Protocol on Access to Genetic Resources and the Fair and Equitable Sharing of Benefits Arising from Their Utilization to the Convention on Biological Diversity (“Nagoya Protocol”or“Protocol”). [1] The Nagoya Protocol was signed by the Government via the Minister of Environment on 11 May 2011.
