Indonesia’s Minister of Health (“ Minister ”) has issued Regulation No. 3 of 2026 on Disease Control (“ Regulation 3/2026 ”), which has been in force since 11 March 2026. [1] Generally speaking, Regulation 3/2026 addresses a wide range of provisions, including the control of communicable and Non-Communicable Diseases, environmental health, the Matra health program and relevant supporting aspects (e.g. community participation, sanctions and funding). [2] These provisions are in line with the mandates set out under Law No. 17 of 2023 on Health (“ Law 17/2023 ”) and Regulation of the Government No. 28 of 2024 on the Implementing Regulation to Law 17/2023.
