Since the provisions set under Regulation of the President No. 44 of 2020 on the Indonesian Sustainable Palm-Oil Certification System (“ Regulation 44/2020 ”) are no longer considered to be in line with current legal developments and evolving international legal standards, the Indonesian President has issued Regulation No. 16 of 2025 on the Indonesian Sustainable Palm-Oil Certification System (“ Regulation 16/2025 ”), which repeals and replaces Regulation 44/2020 and which has been in force since 19 March 2025.
