It's Official! Minister of Investment/Head of BKPM Now Authorized to Stipulate, Offer and Grant WIUPK to Religious Ormas-Owned Businesses

In October 2023, the government issued Regulation of the President No. 70 of 2023 on Land Allocations for Investment Management (“ Regulation 70/2023 ”) which, in essence, sets out various classifications of land use and corresponding utilization and also addresses land allocations for different types of business activities, land use management and also the Task Force for Land Use Management (“ Task Force ”). It should also be noted that various land allocation provisions that feature under Regulation 70/2023 were previously summarized in the following edition of Indonesian Legal Brief (“ ILB ”): “ Land Allocations for Mining and Concession Licenses for Forest Areas and Plantations Stipulated for Investment Purposes ”.
