IUIPHH Licensing Process is Integrated into the OSS System

The Minister of Environment and Forestry (“ Minister ”) recently issued Regulation No. P.1/MENLHK/SETJEN/KUM.1/1/2019 on Primary Industrial Business Licenses for Forestry Products (“ Regulation 1/2019 ”), which is aiming to integrate the licensing process intothe Online Single Submission (“ OSS ”) system, as mandated under Regulation of the Government No. 24 of 2018 onElectronically Integrated Business Licensing Services (“ Regulation 24/2018 ”). [1] Previously, matters pertaining to Primary Industrial Business Licenses for Forestry Products (Izin Usaha Industri Primer Hasil Hutan– “ IUIPHH ”) were addressed under Regulation of the Minister No. P.13/MENLHK-II/2015 (“ Regulation 13/2015 ”) which now has been repealed and replaced by Regulation 1/2019.
